Every Tuesday, we organize classes (one for beginners and one for intermediates/advanced) followed by a práctica. This is our most regular activity.
The schedule of a typical Tuesday is the following:
- 7 to 8 pm: Beginners class.
- 8 to 9 pm: intermediates class – Beginners are encouraged to stay for practice, but teachers attentions is devoted at this time to the intermediate participants.
- 9 pm onwards: free práctica, with teachers available to answer questions from everyone.
The first class is for beginners (in at least one role) or false beginners (a few months of practice). The second is for intermediate or advanced dancers (more than one year of classes).
The práctica following both classes is open to everyone, regardless of technical level. It is a space for exchange, learning, and socializing.
It is not necessary to come with a partner, either for the classes or for the práctica. On the contrary, we encourage you to dance with several different people and to change partners regularly.
Admission of absolute beginners
If you are a complete beginner (never done it before or less than 3 months of classes elsewhere), you can join our classes during only three periods of the year:
- during the month of January
- during the month of April
- during the month of September
If you have already taken classes before (at least 3 months), contact us to see what options we have available outside of these dates.
When and where?
Every Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to approximately 10:30 p.m. (depending on attendance).
These times may vary slightly throughout the year depending on attendance at each level and the availability of organizers and teachers. Before coming, please write to us to confirm the schedule and whether we can accommodate you.
